Social Responsibilty: exuses for tardiness

I'm a little late getting the internet at my house this year.
Originally i was just gonna start blogging my project when i got the internet at home.
(planned for first week back)
But that's taking way too long (i still dont have it!).
So, I'll post what I've been doing up here as soon as i get the chance.
But bare with me, it may just be an unintelligible mess of links and book titles that I've been reading over the past to and a half weeks. Pulled at random from my memory and my internet history.

I'll say now one thing I can remember. I've read Alain de Botton's book Status Anxiety, this has been very interesting, the first chapter i think seems surprisingly relevant to today's facebooks and myspaces. I very much agreed with almost everything he said. I read the whole thing from cover to cover, insightful, interesting, and even a little original. It's helped me to narrow down what i want to do. but more on that later.
